Zeitz MOCAA presents The Pan-African Film Caravan, screening Ancestral Visions of the Future by Lemohang Jeremiah Mosese

In anticipation of the moving image exhibition Turning Towards the Sun, Zeitz MOCAA, in collaboration with African Film and Media Arts Collective (AFMAC), presents the Pan-African Film Caravan. The programme spans historical and contemporary African cinema, from drama to sci-fi, exploring queer life, the human condition, and cultural reclamation. Inspired by the Pan-African Film Festival (FESPACO) (1969) and The Poetry Caravan (2000), it recognises filmmaking as an important tradition used during the wave of African independence in the 1960s.
